Gratitude and The Flame Within

Inspirational Quote

“At times, our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us.”

– Albert Schweitzer

The Psychology Perspective

Hello Everybody, and Happy Thanksgiving. Today has a special place in my heart. It is a day, specially set, to give Thanks for all those joys we have encountered throughout the year.

The highly successful entrepreneur Mary Kay once said, God First, Family Second, and Business Third. I have adopted this philosophy in my daily life. So I want to Thank God for the Wonderful Year I have had. I want to thank my Wife, my Children, and my Parents for making this year the greatest year of my life. I also want to thank every WordPress fan that I have… You provide me with a light, a beacon of hope to initiate my day every morning as I read your posts while taking care of my physical health (3 am Elliptical Runs).

Body, Mind, and Spirit

Anyone who knows me, understands that I am a very grateful and sincere person. In my years in the helping profession, I have been grateful to meet countless people, each of whom have had some effect on changing my life for the better. This blog is no exception, as it is here that I have found a community of people that go beyond the divisive nature of the media that surrounds us, and explores ways to bring joy, understanding, love, and happiness to others through the art-form of written word. For that, I thank You.

We are born to a family from which we have limited choice. However, as we develop into our own essence, we chose the the people we wish to call family. I was fortunate enough to have a great personal family, as well as an extended group of people I am glad to call my family. HAPPY THANKSGIVING, and Thank You from the bottom of my Heart.
