The Psychology Perspective

Hello All. Yesterday was kind of an enigma. I started out my lifestyle change by setting the alarm for 3 AM to take on the new posting schedule as well as creating space to attain a full workout. I didn’t do much special as it relates to yummy food recipes, but I did add to my favorite morning routine. I added power lifting back to the routine, and it did wonders to start off my day.

In any form of a lifestyle change, there is a pull to keep you where you have been versus where you allowing you space for where you are going. A good place to start… look within. See those places where you have been, and then begin to take ownership of each and every experience that brought you to the place you are at in this moment.

Psychologically, this is the way our mind operates. We are directors of our reality. Like a movie, the inner child that is afraid is within each and everyone of us. Honor him or her, and let them begin to shine through. He or she is part of the family, and that family is You.

Weight Loss Journey

I find it difficult to not weigh myself on a daily basis. Wow, that is tough, but I know the reason why Weight Watchers says not to do so. Weight fluctuates, especially with water intake.

Yummy Food Ideas. I didn’t have any today. I prepared my lunch in this cool air fryer. No oil, but a great tasting and buttery (spray butter 0 Points) chicken breast with mixed vegetables and 1.5 oz of Cheddars Cheese. IT hit the Spot. But what I noticed most, the morning workout and succeeding in my two posts really motivated my entire morning, and by the time I attended my children’s weekly Catholic Mass, I felt elated and Grateful for the family, friends, and the journey I have began to undertake.

Emotional Perspective

Feeling tired, but good. To bed by 8 to wake up by 3. Let’s take another day tomorrow. Thank you for reading and if you have any questions, I am more the happy to answer.

Believe… Achieve… Advance Confidently in the Direction of Your Dreams.

Thank you. I don’t se an end, but the end, and even then, it is a transition into unknown territories. I have been practicing the art of letting go. I found that the more we hold onto things, the more they cling to us. Both wanted and unwanted. The key for the wants, be grateful and more will flow to you. The unwanted, ad the Disney cartoon says, let it go? That is the philosophical paradox I am working on this time for an overall journey of soulful transformation. I look forward to reading your work this year, and collaborating some more.

A quintessential rock anthem. Got introduced yo it in the Highlander movies, which inadvertently introduced me to my Scottish heritage. Love that history. It actually became the source of my undergraduate education, and the source of a wonderful trip to England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 , Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 , and Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿.

  1. I like how you said “there is a pull to keep you where you have been.”
That is such an insightful statement, I definitely struggle sometimes with that pull but by fighting it I have learned to build better habits

Thank you for sharing. Do you mind if I use this comment to expand upon on one of my journey articles? I would be happy to cite it back to a blog or webpage you have, use your handle or name, or keep it absolutely anonymous if you wish.

      • You can definitely use that for your journey, I don’t know if I have any articles that specifically say that in them, but I have written about the pull of old habits

  2. Succulent Savage – Welcome to my blog! I started this blog a few months ago. Now that it's taking off and I've got my husband sparked to write we've joined forced in a dual paged blog which reflects various parts of both our lives. We are your typical married couple… kinda. We met through some shared kinks on a social media site a little over a year ago. We live together, work, play, pay bills… all the normal things couples do. We just do ours with a kinky twist. I call my husband "Daddy" to reflect the Dominant/submissive nature of our relationship. i am His submissive in all things. i am His owned and collared property along with being His wife. The wife part came a little later. Daddy calls me "kitten". i am a babygirl. All that means is that i'm a sweet, obedient sub. Don't get me wrong, i like to be a brat… quite often. More often than not, i'm very obedient and more than happy to please my Daddy. i am also a little. Daddy and i don't engage in age play. We don't ever pretend i'm a little girl during sex and certainly not HIS daughter!!! We're good with others doing it. It hits the EWWWW factor for us both. In our vanilla lives, I'm a housewife. I'm intelligent, artistic, a creative home chef, and a retired mental health worker. Mr. McDaddy is well seasoned in the hospitality industry. He's got stories galore to tell!!! Come to think of it, I could probably share some funnies and insights into my former work life. You'll see posts from us both on all sorts of subjects. My favorite subject to write about is Daddy. ♥ I hope those who follow my personal blog will also enjoy my Daddy's writings on His end of the blog at www.wordpress.com/lifeofadaddymaster.home.blog

Excellent!!! Slow and steady lifestyle changes that were attainable and which I can maintain long term. Portion control, healthier choices. Big one? Eating for health and not for fun and all the other emotions I ate out of, boredom being a big one. I find that keeping it off is about the long haul of my choices. I have bad days still and eat REALLY crappy, but overall, I eat healthy and don’t give up after a bad day… or even a couple weeks. I get to be really overweight and have an unhealthy relationship with food over night, so I didn’t expect to fix it over night. 🙂

Looking forward to seeing you move forward on this fantastic journey. 🙂

Thank you. It was a trip when the MD called me morbidly obese. I was thinking “what… have you seen yourself.”

The guy was twice the size of me. As he told me to diet and exercise I found it difficult to believe what I was hearing I don’t think he knew I had just come from the gym two hours earlier and work out daily. However, I got his point… as it relates to health.

I never see quick fix solutions as an answer. Healthy lifestyle I’ve the long haul and having fun doing it is what I am about. Ultimately I see it as a journey of inner growth while letting go of the ill effects of those habits that have held us back.

Thank you again for your kind words of support and advice.
