The Psychology Perspective

Every person has an inner child that dreamed to one day become… Oftentimes, when we grow up, we forget the profound nature of those early year dreams.

Those dreams are a source of psychological ashes, those elements of the past that may be long lost, but still glow deep within as burning embers moving the soul. In the tales of old, we called the process of knowing what we are and working the elements of what we are to become as ash-work. In Fairy Tales, Her name was Cinder-Ella, or girl that tends Ashes. In ancient Nordic myths, he was called “Askeladden” or Ashlad.

What can we learn from these myths?

Just a short for now. Ash-work is engaging the psychological shadow. They show us ways to tend to those inner hurts that affected us so, overcome, and grow from those inner experiences that put us down, but we eventually were able to wish upon a start and grow from towards a positive outcome.

More to come in a new analysis of these ancient, yet profound tales of psychological development.
