The Psychology Perspective for Weight Loss

Ah… The monthly massage. I made it a determination to treat myself last year for a monthly maintenance routine. Our bodies naturally grow and decline, ebb and flow. This is the nature of emotional, physical, and spiritual growth. Today I rewarded myself for the journey I have committed to undertake; what was best, my release was even noticed by others, my masseuse.

Today, I am continuing my journey to release weight. I am in the process in forming new habits. They say it takes 28 days to form a new habit and I am nearly half way there. Today, I will have my Keto Tea. Hope you enjoyed the recipe from last week. I am trying a new variation though. Cran-Grape Sunrise. Same measurements, different juice. I supplemented my meals for today with Chicken Breasts in the Air Fryer and Rosarita Lime No Fat Refried Beans. No points on Weight Watchers. Healthy meal, filling, and counts as no points for my day. Looking forward to a night of relaxation and fun.

What’s your Weekend Weight Loss Ritual?

My goal, even my cheat days are being logged. I am feeling great about the new habit I am forming. from a psychological perspective, if you are looking to give up old habits, it is absolutely imperative you fill that void with new habits to take their place. This week, I have focused on the willful act of letting go. No we need to fill that space with a higher power, an essence of new being if you will, to take the place of the old and unhealthy ways that permeated before. Thank You for reading everyone.

Today’s inspiration comes from a beautifully brilliant woman… We all know her and the battles she has faced in her hero’s journey to release weight. She inspires so many, that I cannot wait to see her at her upcoming sold out stadium tour. Oprah Winfrey… Thank you for all the work you do to inspire those who’s lives you have touched. Too many to count I am sure, but still a major source of inspiration for those who follow you. Also, thank you for helping to guide the way on this journey towards Weight Watchers success. I look forward to sharing my results on this wonderful path to lifestyle change.
