Super Bowl… The Weekend… & The Goal

It is day 27 of 28 to form a new habit. I feel things are moving different. I listened today to Tony Robbins, a brilliantly motivating man that inspires me to take on new heights. It was an interesting You Tube Video, that boils down to one major theme. Set Your Standards High!!! Create the ritual to attain those standards.

I am Down for this 30 Minutes.

I respect anyone that sets their standards high. In order to attain any goal worth having, we have to set our mind, our heart, and our drive to achieve that life we wish to achieve. This is not about goals, this is about living the life at the level we wish to attain.

Wayne Dyer once said, there are 25 quarterbacks in the NFL and about 25,000 writers critiquing their performance. He draws attention to the difference between those that do and those who don’t. However, most times, our worst critic is simply the person staring back at us in the mirror.

If this is the case, how can we use this to our advantage?

What standards do you wish to set.

Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss it you will land among the stars.”

—Les Brown

Today, I chose to shoot for the moon. Day 28 will set the standards for a new habit. A health habit. A habit that I will combine with my drive to inspire others to achieve the dreams they set forward to do.

Day 28 Coming

This week will start a new transition to greatness. The goal is to lose weight, but it is linked to something higher. To form a new health habit, we must link it to a higher purpose. My purpose, to build a healthy and happy life to share with my family. To prove the MD’s wrong, and to build the person / Self of my dreams.
