Inspiration

I meant what I said and I said what I meant.

Today was good. Today was fun. Tomorrow is another one.

The Depth Psychology Perspective

So often, we tend to lose focus on the true nature of what is important around us. One of my favorite authors is Dr. Seuss. He has a number of moral lessons present in the limericks he created.

Life presents as a measure of checks and balances. Was today good? Was it fun? We can spend most days feeling as if they were just content, many times because we allow the bad to outweigh the good. But when he shift our focus to what is actually happening, the world shapes itself around what our mind perceives. Good or bad? What perception do you bring to the table.

This brings up the philosophical quandary of the glass being half full or half empty. If it is full, what source of goodness can you allow in your life. If it is empty, do you perceive the emptiness, or do you see the opportunity to fill it with the joy that you seek.

Mean what you say… Mean what you do. This forms the character of the Self you create. Direct that self… and you will see great heights emerge.

I had fun with this one today. Hope you enjoyed.
