The Truth of the Way

To keep the body in good health is a duty… otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear.

What we think, we become.

The Philosopher’s Corner

Mind, Body, Spirit. We are all an integral being. Body nor mind can exist without spirt. Mind, that ever present being in our lives, must have body to satiate its inner cravings for emotional pleasures. Unfortunately, in our striving to achieve pleasure, sometimes we meet with its antithesis, pain. Body, well, without a mind to force it to take part in life, and the spirit to guide the way towards one’s dreams, stagnates and begins to fail.

We are all integral beings, yearning and moving through the ebb and flow of life to create those moments where dream and reality meet.

Today’s quotes are from the Buddha. He reminds us of our duty to care for the shrine we have been given. We only have one shot at this lifetime, we might as well make the most of it.

To keep the shrine in good health is to invite a holy union within. If we are created in the image, then the image exists within as well as without. In Buddhism, this paradoxical form of consciousness exists when Atman unites with Brahman, and forms a form of universal consciousness termed Nirvana.

While very few have ever achieved this trait, when we ask simple questions such as:

Who am I?

What is my Purpose?

What is the meaning of life?

We are ultimately engaged in a form of dialogue that promotes profound levels of inner and outer growth. Keep questioning friends. Keep believing! Of course don’t forget to:

Believe… Achieve… Advance Confidently in the Direction of Your Dreams!
