Fear defeats more people than any other one thing in the world.
Ralph Waldo Emerson
God enters by a private door into every individual.

I am not a skeptic in the true power that the simple act of listening can do for the giver and the receive of such a gift. In a beautiful article Paid in Full written by the blogger From a Spark to a Flame, I found a sense of reverie in the musings of those signs that I listen for on a daily basis.
I am a man of faith, even though I have been trained extensively in the sciences. As I have said in yesterday’s article, there is something quite unique about the synchronistic function the psyche has to pull one towards the very exercises that will round out its edges to realize that there is something greater within.
These callings are somewhat of an enigma. There exists an open ended nature around their essence. If the term Ego, or what Wayne Dyer stated was an acronym for Edging God Out is even remotely true, then it is through these synchronistic musings that we are called out to face that fear of the unknown, and enter into a doorway by which we can realize the dawn that inevitably proceeds the darkest part of the night. As Paulo Coelho stated in his beautiful work The Alchemist:
Don’t give in to your fears. If you do, you won’t be able to talk to your heart
Paulo Coelho
As I write this, this is a time of fear and uncertainty. However, I have faith in the idea that our inner most nature is built upon the strength, knowledge, and faith of Giants. If we were built in the image, then the image is within us. That image exists to lead to a realized state where we can let go of those inner fears, pesky doubts, and not Edge God Out (EGO). Instead, the image calls to us (listening) to work willingly together despite our differences to identify and overcome those obstacles that may stand in the way of our very future.
Faith – the simple belief in something that is great, even though it is unknown to us at this moment… or as Saint Thomas Aquinas once said…
Faith has to do with things that are not seen and hope with things that are not at hand.
Saint Thomas Aquinas
