Our nation, and the world at large is built upon the backs of Giants. There is an inner solace, a quiet resolve present in the mind of any person that had the courage to step forward and do what is right. Their success hinged on their willingness to take one small step, oftentimes without knowing what the outcome of their decision would be. They believed in themselves, oftentimes at the expense being ostracized from the mainstream.
In today’s inspirational quote, I explore the inner concept of success that came from the mind of one such giant in American history. Abraham Lincoln faced unprecedented adversity, but had an inner resolve deeply built upon the concept of perseverance; this resolve fostered in the depths of his soul because of and despite the numerous failures he sustained. He was resolved to succeed, and because of this, his call to create something right and just was realized despite his tragic ending.
Sometimes the difference between success and failure is inner resolve to get things done despite the odds that may stand in the way.
