Inspiration

Prayer should be the key of the day and the lock of the night.

George Herbert

Forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair.

Khalil Gibran
Inspiration: Faith… A Key to Wonder

The Philosopher’s Corner

Faith is Belief in the unknown. It moves the inner essence of the soul from the simple construct that has gone by countless names, pulling us to make meaning of what was, so that we may move towards what will become.

Faith is belief… but belief in what. Well, ego, that act of (Edging God Out) would lead us to believe that it is in our own human capacity to dictate what will become. However, this is not always the case. As any person who has ever achieved some degree of success in their life will tell you, the journey to their success did not start in relationship to their current circumstances; instead, it started in their capacity to see themselves in a higher state of being that does not exist in the here and now. They dreamed forward to a future that had yet to exist, and through the tenacity of hard work, determination, and their inner capacity to face the fears that arise with such a hero’s quest, achieved the vision of Self they once strove to become.

Prayer is a grounding and a lifting force. It should ground us to the day to come. Just think, you woke up, the sun will gently kiss your brow, and who knows what lies in store for you today. Prayer is also a sweet kiss goodbye, for during this day, you may have had 60 plus thousand thoughts, but maybe one of them holds the key to your future. Never forget, this is passion that Earth holds for us, its inhabitants. She delights in all that we are, and all that we will become.

Have Faith… Many Prayers and Blessings.
