To see a world in a grain of sand and heaven in a wildflower Hold infinity in the palm of your hand and eternity in an hour.

(William Blake)

A Father’s Guide to Wisdom

Namaste. This ancient Sanskrit word translates loosely to the inner light within me bows to the light found within you. Maybe this is what William Blake meant when he said that he could see the world in a grain of sand or heaven in a wildflower. We are born of this world, every one of us birthed in common experiences that will unfold during our lifespan. Regardless of the parents that provided us the DNA sequence that we call our life, we enter the world perfect in the eyes of God.

However, at some point, our inner calm begins to fail us. We begin to make a conscious shift into being separate from the inner mystery that is God and begin to see ourselves as absent from the grandeur that is the creative source of all this is, was, and forever will be. Adam and Eve knew of this journey all too well, and it represents the curse for which all humanity will undertake to become closer to that infinite source.

But how do we return? Well, the good news is that each of us is a work of art in progress. But our journey’s diverge from this common point of entry. There is no common path, only a common beginning, and endpoint. However, even in birth and death, each of our journeys is a highly individualized experience.

From an emotional perspective, I have found that the motivating force behind the need to nurture Self into being, lies simply in our need to create a vision of life that brings forth feelings of loving-kindness to the soul. And when soul unites with spirit, that inner drive to persevere to make real that dream that was once only a vision, infinite intelligence will be realized at a level of inner peace, calm, and contentment.

Namaste, my friends. May inner peace, prayers, and blessings find your soul and spirit as you advance in your journey to believe, achieve, and advance confidently in the direction of your dreams.
