To Realize Self… A Journey of a Thousand Miles

Inspiration

It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.

Confucius

The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.

Lao Tzu

A Father’s Guide to Wisdom

To give gratitude for what is, allows for doors to open of what can be. From this perspective, the act of giving thanks allows us inroads into worlds of possibility.

But the barriers we erect are always acts of self-protection. As consciousness arises, we naturally gravitate towards a state of personal ideal, negating the fact that we are all children born in the image of something much greater. Through E.G.O. we develop the idea that we exist somehow separate from the collective source that lies at the root of our holy nature. But in the act of Edging God Out (E.G.O.) we fail to realize that we all undertake this most basic of journeys, that pulling need to make meaning for our life and realize its true potential.

Confucius and Lao Tzu were contemporaries that inhabited the earth some 2,500 years ago. But their wisdom rings just as true today as it once did two millennia prior. A Journey of 1,000 miles starts when one confronts those inner fears that would hold one in place. By facing the paralyzing nature of fear, one harnesses the courage needed to move forward in their personal development. This is the first step to realize any dream of Self-potential; Once you begin, there simply is no turning back. It does not matter how slowly you move, just as long as you don’t stop this forward progression.

Each of us has a beginning, a middle, and an end to our story. The beginning and ending is the same. What story do you wish to make of your middle?

Namaste. With many prayers and blessings my friends. Believe… Achieve… Advance Confidently in the Direction of Your Dreams.
