Greetings my friends. I hope these words find you in good spirits, health, and full of abundant hope. I thought long and hard about the message I wanted to bring to you today, and through the thick and thin of the quandary I pondered, I could only come up with one word… Hope!
We are all son’s and daughters here. We are all children of something that is much greater than the face value of what is seen. We are children of God, and as such, we strive to be in tune with the orchestra of life we are given.
I ran into the poem by Emily Dickinson today. What words of beauty it portrays. Hope is that thing that perches in the soul, ready to leap at a moment’s notice, to bring us closer to the meaning created. Not only by us, but also by that higher purpose that calls upon us to realize our inner potential.
Today, as I wrote these words my son awoke. Yes, it was a little too early. I hugged him and greeted him to this day. We will surely take part in all its glory, but not before he gets a little more rest. God works in mysterious ways. Sometimes it is found in a goodnights kiss. Others, it is the mercy and wonderment you show those smaller things in life that can and do make all the difference.
