They who dream by day are cognizant of many things which escape those who dream only by night.

A Father’s Guide Wisdom
There is a fire in the belly of each person that walks this earth. That fire burns with inner passion. But what is the reason we each have a burning spark of desire, or as Robin Williams stated in my last post, a little spark of madness that you must guard at all costs to ignite the passion of your dreams?
Dreams constitute a creative force that heals the psyche, so it too can get to the present moment and realize its conscious intent. But dreams are much more potent than just being a healing agent of the psyche. They constitute the capacity psyche has to learn of its true nature when combined with conscious intent. In this fashion, the dream by day creates avenues of reality yet to be self-discovered. But in the discovery of the secrets behind the dream, we open doors to higher states of consciousness, or what psychology has shown to be a Self-realized state.
It is imperative to dream. Poe understood the foundational importance of this as the foundation of his work. But dreaming is not just a creative factor. It serves as the beginning point of any successful endeavor, a fact of which has not escaped the great leaders of our time.
As parents, we must open avenues of belief for our children to believe in their capacity to dream and to create those dreams into reality. By opening doors to worlds of unknown possibility, we truly free the human psyche of the chains that bind it, allowing for inner growth to effect outer reality. What avenues of conscious intent can your dreams open you too? How can these dreams make the world a little bit better? Just think, what would happen if we all took just one moment to make that practice a reality. What good could that do?
