To Be Present

Inspiration for the Soul…

I am not afraid of tomorrow, for I have seen yesterday and I love today!

A Philosopher’s Stone

The source of anxiety occurs when we assume a future perspective. The source of depression happens to us when we focus too far on the past. Either way, we miss the moment and trip over ourselves. Hopefully, we do not make a mistake to assume that just because the past was a certain way, our present and future are doomed to be the same.

In today’s citation, William Allen White reminds us that being present in the moment is all that we truly have. Are you guaranteed a tomorrow? I genuinely hope I am, but I know deep down inside, this is not a guarantee. Love today; it helps to make sense of the life that was so you can get to the business of creating the life you wish to attain.

With blessings, my friends. May your journeys lead you to beautiful wanderings as you advance confidently in the direction of your dreams.
