Words of Inspiration
A Philosopher’s Stone
To be thankful, grateful, and to stand in awe at the miracle that surrounds us. Beauty formed the foundation of my Thanksgiving weekend, as I realized the true blessing of all there is to be grateful for.
Do you sometimes wonder from where does all the anger and despair hail from? I do. But as I see more and more people slip into its grasp, one common theme is present, and you do not need perfect eyesight to detect its presence. It seems that we have lost the ability to see the awe in the simple things that surround us. To reflect upon the beautiful world that exists between the petals of a flower, all while we search with un-relentless precision for beauty to be found in human creations. Beauty is there, maybe even in both, but your eyes are simply not trained to dig it out. We call this cognitive distortion, which means that we see the world from the internal lens of our mind’s perception. In a bad mood, your mind will create the same experiences it needs to keep you there. You see, the brain is a powerful force of attraction, and the last thing it wants is to disappoint the reality you have created. That would make one think they are insane, and the mind very much shies away from this sort of negative attention. Even if the intent is maddening within itself.
Here, Confucius reminds us to see the beauty in what is present. Look within, there you will find the answer to what brings beauty in your life. To see is to believe, and the foundation of our beliefs will shape the world that we see. What world do you choose to create this week?
With blessings, my friends. Namaste. May your journey take you on wonderous paths as you advance confidently in the direction of your dreams.

Creation’s treasures are placed throughout nature’s realm with a simple purpose. Its beauty reminds us of who is truly in control
To see a World in a Grain of Sand
And a Heaven in a Wild Flower
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand
And Eternity in an hour (William Blake).
I think I need to revisit this one for my vlog creation. You are absolutely right here and great to hear from you!
Thanks for sharing the words of William Blake. Powerful verses!
Not sure about blessings. That needs an active power that is partial to you. Why you and not someone else. The thought of an active in history G-d in a multiverse is daunting.I prefer to believe in karma. .
