Positive Affirmation for Beauty

Finding Beauty Within

An Affirmation for the Soul

Today, I affirm that I will look for beauty in all things, small and large.

In our brief journey together, let us sit back, enjoy the scenery, relax into the music, and let go.

Just Relax, Breath, find the rhythm of your breath and know there is true beauty within.

Now repeat after me.

I am grateful for the beauty that surrounds me. I see significance in the small things, a drop of rain, a smile from a stranger, a blade of grass. I also see majesty in the sky, the sun, the moon, and the universe, those massive things that truly allow us to reflect upon our significance. Everything has its unique guiding light, and I am grateful to be able to witness it.

As we wind down this journey together, reflect on one small thing you would like to shift for the week. What calls upon you to nurture to create your inner significance?

The Psychology

Beauty is the result of all things we tell ourselves. As the old saying goes, it is in the eye of the beholder. As a practicing psychotherapist, I see the need to establish one’s self-esteem as a pivotal part for any personal development to take place.

What can you be grateful for?

Find one element of personal significance that calls upon your soul as a means for inner work and development.

  • Write down times your self-esteem or self talk got into the way of you realizing your dreams.
  • Determine what traits need changing.
  • Determine a course of action to move forward.
  • Anticipate what might get into the way.
  • Create fail-safes to increase your chance for success.

We tend to get in the way of our inner wellbeing. As life unfolds, we can develop negative attitudes towards the very things that create the road to our inner success. By using positive statements for psychological growth, we not only create avenues for a positive psychology, we also create inroads to personal potential.

As always, namaste, my friends. May purpose find you on your journey to advance confidently in the direction of your dreams.
