A Philosopher’s Stone
Fall is here! The season, like the leaves, vibrant in warm colors of retrospect, for a wonderful year gone by.
Yet, as the leaves fall, and I rake them from the ground, I cannot help but wonder, why don’t we do this same exercise with the dead leaves in our life.
Seasons pass. Years pass. Yet the storylines are held onto, even at the expense of the very life force that gives us the gift of next year to come.
Happiness is not an external job. It’s internal. Yet, if we are weighed down by the leaves of falls past, literally and figuratively, we have no room for those positive emotions to find their course in our daily life.
What activities bring you happiness at this very moment? What leaves past are you ready to let go of in order to find your happiness habits. Be like a tree, ground yourself in your eternal being, and let those dead leaves drop.
Blessings, my friends. May happiness find you as you advance confidently in the direction of your dreams.
This could pertain to transplanting into a larger or even smaller flower pot or move a plant inside or outside, etc., but I see this is also the Fall (Autumn) of the year.
