Gratitude… To Stand on the Back of Giants

Inspirational Quotes

If I have seen further than others, it is by standing upon the shoulders of giants.

Isaac Newton

We know what we are, but know not what we may be.

William Shakespeare

A Father’s Guide to Wisdom

Gratitude. It makes the world seem somehow, more humane; wouldn’t you agree? But how do we express that inner feeling of thanksgiving so that the ones we love will understand the actual value of what they bring to our life?

As a writer, I always shift my focus to those who have influenced my life. We do not exist in a vacuum, even though the ego may delude us to think so often. Instead, we learn and grow from the good and bad moments, when life tells us that some shift is needed to advance confidently in the direction of our dreams.

In today’s inspirational quotes, we examine two giants of their era. Sir Isaac Newton and Sir William Shakespeare inspired generations with the brilliance of their artistic and scientific works. Today, we do not even question gravity. Like the concept of God, we don’t question the effects gravity has on our lives, even though we have no sensory capacity to feel, taste, smell, hear, or see its presence. Instead, we can only see its effects. William Shakespeare was a literary giant of prose that created heartache for generations of teens yearning to feel love’s impact for the first time. His words inspire us to aspire towards the heights only known through love. By remembering where we came, and honoring the direction we are going, we find ourselves here and now. What new heights can you aspire to, if you actively engaged that aspirational path?

Namaste, my friends. May prayers and blessings find you along your journey to believe, achieve, and advance confidently in the direction of your dreams.
