Science and technology revolutionize our lives, but memory, tradition and myth frame our response.

Food for Thought
Myth plays an integral role in the soul’s calling. It moves us in ways that science, technology, nor computers can ever understand. In essence, the creative function behind the storylines that create our life call upon us to realize our life unfolded, whether we listen or not.
The tenets of depth psychology and Carl Jung’s analytical approach to the human psyche call us to explore the inner workings of the soul, that elusively shy creature that stands at the root of the life we create. Close your eyes, and picture those enantiodromias that play out in your mind’s eye during your nocturnal state. Are they you, or some remnant of you? Or do the characters exist separately from you?
In our slumbering state, the psyche works our myths from a collective storehouse of themes available to the growing soul in transition. Many of these themes are collective. Overbearing or loving mothers, wise or tyrannical fathers, or that all evolving trickster that beckons us down the rabbit hole to solve the inner depths of problems yet understood. Good dreams, nightmares, and all in between, our soul works tirelessly to give us inner meaning.
The call within is just that, a distant voice that beckons us back to the direction of a wayward. Through the aspiration of spirit, our willingness to move confidently in the direction of a dream that calls upon us to realize our true potential creates is the language of the soul.
Until next time my friends, Namaste. Let inner light and blessings find you on your journey to advance confidently in the direction of your dreams.
