Children see magic Because they look for it…

History will judge us by the difference we make in the everyday lives of children.

Parenting through Magical Means
We are all teachers. We bare this title because if we have made it this far, we have done something that only a few centuries before would have been deemed extraordinary. You made it to adult life. With that privilege, you are now are ready to help others see the real magic of childhood.
As fall arises, it invites us to reflect. It is harvest time. We have sown, and now we must reap, and soon the long nights of winter’s touch will come upon us. But in the absence of light, winter invites us to reflect upon the sanctity of life that moves us. Just as the cold touch of a winter’s night may bite at the soul, it simply cannot exist without the rejuvenation of Spring, which makes the life-cycle of the year whole. As the old Disney cartoon, The Lion King reminds us, it truly is a circle of life.
In today’s quotes, children’s author Christopher Moore reminds us that the real magic of childhood is that they can see the magic in the first place. Don’t ever discount that ability. Even if adult life takes this away, re-create it as quickly as possible; by doing so, you will create lasting change in your life. The wise leader, Nelson Mandela, a man that knew the harshest of punishments adult life could afford one, reminds us of a litmus we must all face as we undertake the journey of parenting. Don’t judge yourself based upon your accomplishments; instead, look within and determine what you are doing to make a difference for the next generation. How would the world look if we just went within to find a little magic and create a picture worth passing on to those children we love so dearly?
Namaste, my friends. May prayers and blessings find you along your journey to believe, achieve, and advance confidently in the direction of your dreams.
