Consciousness… The Heartbeat of the Universe

Psyche. That long studied phenomenon that somehow alludes capture from our wandering consciousness. What treasures it holds within, ready for the eyes that will happen upon its circumstance. To find its essence is to realize the soul’s nature, the breath that gently seduces the rhythmic motion of the life created. But to grasp it brings with it a much greater risk, that deep-seeded fear of letting go of what was, so that we may seize upon the world of possibility that exists here and now.

In the emerging world of quantum physics and monistic psychologies, the universe creates itself from the eyes, ears, and perceptions of true belief. A depth is present to each of us, that mere reductive means will never be able to corner. Just as God had created us in image most fit to be humane, we too have a similar creative capacity. What we dream, we can realize, through matching our inner being to the universal consciousness that moves us.

What a beautiful concept. What magic could come if we matched our heartbeat to that of the universe? What change is possible if we just checked our nature to that of Nature.

At its most finite level, consciousness works in symbiotic ways with the universe it surrounds and vice versa. The relationship is reciprocal, each affecting the direction of the other. If we can realize this, we have achieved one half of the battle, the latter of which we must put into action through lived experience the change we wish to seek.

Focus not on the past or the distant future. Set a goal, and break it down into simple steps. Engage the present moment to realize those steps, and the universe will perceive its glory through the creative work you undertake to hone in on its magnificence.
