Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it.
Confucius

Engaging Spirit
They Say that Beauty Rests in the Eye of the Beholder But look over there, and what do you see? Oh, what hidden gems exist when we have Awareness to Perceive? A wise man once said, "Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it." (Confucius) Now ask yourself, where does the beauty of nature, Call upon your soul to Be? Advance confidently in the direction of your dreams.
Beauty & The Spirit Within
Ah, to find beauty within. What spirit educational journey will that awaken within the curious soul? I don’t see the pulling force of the soul as separate from our guiding light. Instead, they are integral; they rely on one another. The soul, that entity of psyche that pulls us to a grounded level, reminds us that we are still part of Earth and all its earthly ways, for better or worse. The other, that flighty nature of our dream’s creator, shows us the brevity and heights we may aspire towards as we chart a course towards the visions we yearn to ascertain.
In today’s excellent quote from Confucius, he invites us to take heed of the importance of being aware of the beauty surrounding us. By engaging consciousness, we prime the psyche to be mindful of the abound possibilities. However, this comes with practice, partly because we are often behaviorally trained to pick out the environmental entities that need attention versus the inherent figments of beauty present, but maybe just out of the perceptual field of a consciousness primed to notice their significance.
An Exercise for Inner Beauty
Look around. Try and find something of inner beauty. Look for it first in the external because it is much easier than turning the focus inward.
Now, look into the mirror. I know it can create uncertainty. Notice one, maybe two, or three features you can compliment while staring into your eyes. Do you believe them?
If not, that is okay. There is just more work to do. If so, you have already begun to perceive what is beautiful externally and internally.
Now imagine your best possible self. Now, write anything that comes to mind for 5 to 10 minutes. See what arises. That represents a vision you are moving towards.
I hope you enjoyed this little foray into the beautiful nature of the soul and the flights of fancy its counterpart, the spirit, takes us upon as we strive to realize the visions we create. As always, my friends, may blessings find you on your journey to advance confidently in the direction of your dreams.
