Day 29: My Personal Journey to Release Weight

The Journey

Everything has a starting point. When things start, they have a degree of excitement. They have a degree of newness. When those same things become habit, become ritual, they assume a new direction in our life.

I am not down on myself here. So don’t get the wrong idea. I am talking about the psychology of habit formation. Good and bad.

Sometimes bad habits can start out with great results. Take a look at why the use of drugs are so prevalent in our society today. If they did not work as an agent to take people away from their emotional state, people simply would not ever use them.

On the flip side, sometimes bad habits when trained can become source of gold from which our tenacity arises. We need food to survive. But in the journey to release weight, we must train that same habit to become our ally. Emotions can step in the way, but it is those same emotions that move the energy within, to get things done.

28 Days to a New Habit

I am feeling great today. Getting ready for my 4 AM workout, plugged out two articles between 3 and 4. Early Bird Catches the Worm, or in my case, the prime machines at the gym. Hope you enjoy this motivation from Dwayne Johnson and the Mulligan Brothers.
