Belief… Turning Thought into Action!

Think left and think right and think low and think high. Oh, the thinks you can think up if only you try!

Dr. Seuss

Believe you can and you’re halfway there.

Theodore Roosevelt

The Depth Psychology Perspective

Action speaks louder than words. We can spend a lifetime yelling for people to see us a certain way, but it only takes small amounts of effort to show one’s true nature.

In today’s environment of social media, we are bombarded on a daily basis with only the positive wallpaper of a person’s life. Yet, we remain transcendently fixed, like it is some actual representation of true life is presenting itself to us. I am not here to bash social media. It has its place. But the words said do not necessarily equal the truth of what is being portrayed.

Dr. Seuss and Theodore Roosevelt remind us that thoughts are precursors to great things. What we feed our brains equates to the reality we create for ourselves. But thoughts are only precursors. We can think, but if we never try, the dreams we dream, will dry up and die. The fear that underlies the inability to succeed in one’s dreams, oftentimes the fear of failure, underlies in most circumstances the ultimate decisions that lead to not taking that first step. Simply put, fear of failure in essence becomes a fear of success, because it stops us from creating the reality we wish to create. Teddy said “Believe.” Believe in yourself, and the battle is half over.

Believe… Achieve… Advance Confidently in the Direction of Your Dreams!
