Wow… What a wonderful experience to be truly grateful for. Every journey begins with a first step. Mine personal journey of weight loss began on Monday, January 6, 2020. While I started this journey a number of times, this time I made it official. I made myself accountable to others.
In Oprah’s 2020 Vision Tour, you are encouraged to take a moral inventory of where you have been, so that you can get to the point of where you want to be. By identifying your starting point, you begin to understand the areas where you may be lacking. By fortifying those areas, you can find a sense of more a well rounded sense of body, mind, and spiritual health.
What areas do you feel a lack of abundance?
Mind? – One’s emotions, learning capacity, or work environment / ethics.
Body? – Nutrition or Exercise/Movement.
Spirit? – Finding your sense of inner purpose or a lack in your personal relationships.
If one or multiple parts of these areas show a lack of abundance, we begin to define life from a sense of what is not versus what is. Instead, we need to shift the focus to identify and use those areas of strength that are in abundance to fortify the areas we feel are lacking.
I will share more of this vision work in my blogs to come.

The Weight Loss Journey
I cannot tell you the weigh in day, because unfortunately my scale ran out of battery. Maybe this is a sign. I pushed hard this week, completed the areas of work I needed to complete, and am now shifting focus to making this a weekly series versus a daily series.
Emotions are high. I feel great and am continuing with my process work to create an environment where weight is not the focus, but general health is. I believe I am down weight, as I changed nothing. However, my Weight Watcher’s Points decreased, which tells me my smart scale synced with the WW app and I am down from my previous weight.
God Bless the better uses of technology. I absolutely love the WW application. It has been a God send in this journey to release weight.
I wish you, my fellow weight loss travelers Best of Blessing, Good Luck, and God Speed along your journey. As the Buddha once said,
“Peace comes from within. Do not seek it without.”
