For what success do you aim? I leave you with this question to ponder over the weekend because, in its foundation lies the direction for which you will create meaning in your life.
Success is… Is it money? Power? Fame? Maybe it is all three? Or quite possibly, maybe it is something deeper. Yes, the green stuff is great. Especially when it allows one the pleasure to take part and buy something long dreamed of obtaining. But mater is only material, and the feelings associated with it also vanish quickly. Fame or power is no different, for they come and go; they too are dependent upon the time we have.
In this citation, David Frost encourages us to engage life at a level we love. Since engaging in life in this fashion, every day is a new beginning. Every corner offers new insight as I see life unfold in a manner that has beauty, meaning, and success in its wake. It takes hard and dedicated work, but the rewards are limited only by the confines of one’s active imagination.
