The Depth Psychology Perspective
This quote just stood out to me today. My son yesterday told me some wonderful news. I don’t know if he could feel that I committed to weight loss, or if I just had a different energy. But he told me that I had lost my “blah blah,” a code word my youngest son assigned for my belly at a very young age.
Through the eyes of a child, we find truth. We find meaning. They don’t lie. Well, at least not in most circumstances when it comes to the things they perceive. They have yet to develop that censor.
Through children, we find the ability to tap into the wildness that lies within. I loved this quote by Nikki Rowe. It reminds me to tap into that natural wild energy, and see through the eyes of a child again. As Carl Jung once said.
