Wow, I reached into the psychological vault to pull out this picture. But it is a beautiful indication of the journey we undertake to release weight. There is a store of energy that lifts us above the threshold of the sea, but a large torrent of energy that at times seems unaccessible. Today was an interesting day.

Today was a little more difficult. For some reason, my body felt zapped. I could not get into the grove of things, and I realized it at the beginning of my morning workout, where my rhythm just seemed off.

Anyone ever have this experience?

Psychologically, it happens to everybody. Energy, the building block of the universe, self, and spirit, ebbs and flows. Some days are brighter than others. Others can just seem off.

My points on Weight Watchers are up to date. I am not going over or under. But I did notice I am eating more protein, which may be increasing my energy levels over time versus the sugar spikes that occur when one eats simple carbohydrates.

What to do?

I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free.

The Depth Psychology Perspective

The Statue of David took three years to complete. Yet it remains a testament of the beauty capable from lived intent. A block of marble and an idea, created a vision from which an ideal person arose, and has withstood the test of time for 5 centuries. The image we create can have a profound effect on our own personal life, as well as the life of others. Look at the works of art, the scientists that did the profound foundational work from which our world is built, or the beauty of faith afforded us from centuries of religious and philosophical wanderers that leave us with the beauty of belief.

What reality do you wish to create. The Secret Genius lies within. Identify a vision of Self potential. Don’t limit by where you are at in the moment. You are already here. Find ways to get to that spot you wish to go.
