Inspiration

Pray as though everything depended on God. Work as though everything depended on you.

Faith is the strength by which a shattered world shall emerge into the light.

Inspiration: The Nature of Faith

The Philosopher’s Corner

As the world is asked to quarantine, we have an extra-ordinary gift available to us. Time…

In the philosophy of psychology, time can be a double edged sword. Too much time on our hands our mind begins to wander, and the wondrous nature of the reality that surrounds us is often missed.

There is a very old saying. “Idle hands are the Devil’s work.” In essence, when we have too much time on our hands, the mind spins, and this affects our overall mental health. However, there is also a clear need the psyche has to go within, make sense of what is there, sift through the ash heap of past dreams lost, in order to find those burning embers that will ignite an unknown passion within. Through faith, we take this journey to find that inner strength by which a shattered world can mend itself into its true essence… the light within.

St. Augustine was a great sinner that became a Saint. His task was amazingly simple, he went within and confessed all that was… He let go of all that occurred, asked for forgiveness, and did the necessary work within to allow the light to move him in a way that quite saintly. He did the work… he let go… and let God.

During this time, we have the ability to mend a world that was shattering. We all find ourselves on a collective journey, fighting to survive, rebuild, and correct the things that once went wrong. What in your life needs mending? How will you work to mend its fragmented nature?

Only by going within, can we find the true power that will mend a world that was shattered from without. What were we lacking? Faith… Belief… a concept of moving towards a higher purpose that we all could move towards. What is your faithful journey? Have you prayed, shown gratitude, or simply just said thank you for today? Be kind… and as always prayers and blessings to all of you my readers.

Believe… Achieve… Advance Confidently in the Direction of Your Dreams
