Be Here… Now!

Inspiration

Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.

Buddha

We must be willing to let go of the life we have planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us.

A Father’s Guide to Wisdom… (Finding Miracles)

As I produced today’s video, I realized that I used some of the same content that I did a few weeks back. I could not help but wonder, why was I so drawn to the quote of the Buddha that my mind would lead me back to its presence only a few weeks later. The law of attraction in action.

I cannot help but wonder what this universal force is. What I do know, is that like attracts like, and even in its opposite form, both poles inhabit the same space. But this was not the only event where attraction begat its synchronistic force yesterday.

Sit back. I am about to tell you a story. One of a miracle that occurred, but was only seen because of an awakened and engaged conscience.

I was listening to Wayne Dyer’s work Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life – Living the Wisdom of the Tao. The lesson was Living by Being.

Working deep philosophy behind Dr. Dyer’s literary prose, I felt a shift begin to occur within my psyche. My life has been one of constant striving, but never have I practiced the art of arriving.

Maybe my mind was closed. Maybe I was stuck in E.G.O. (Edging God Out), instead of engaging a little bit of faith. I had focused solely on the bounty the future offered rather than seeing the miracle that life afforded me in the present moment. No more. I was called to let go, and let God work the beauty of the lesson he had in store for my personal development.

To let go is an act of God. Faith takes over and the psyche awakens itself to miracles abound. The moment I let go, a beautiful white dove appeared, weaving in and out of the traffic. At first, I was worried that it would be hit, but my gaze was transfixed. There it was, weaving in and out, up and down, left and right, steadfast in the direction of its intent.

It moved towards my car and then took its path along the median. We made eye contact. It was majestic. A pure albino dove, flying next to me, eyes transfixed upon its destination. As I passed this beautiful creature, I knew the message of its intent.

Let go and let God. Be here, now, in the present moment. By letting go of the past, and having faith in the direction of God’s intent, we open doors to the beauty of miracles found within the life that awaits us. With many prayers and blessings my friends. Believe, Achieve, and Advance Confidently in the Direction of Your Dreams.
