Spread love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier
Mother Teresa
A Depth Psychology Perspective
What beauty would be possible in the world if we made just one commitment to follow through on these words of wisdom from the Saintly Mother Teresa? Love abounds. It surrounds us in miracles afforded us each day. The only problem, we haven’t entirely trained the seeing eye to notice its beauty in action during our day-to-day lives.
Love is hands down the most beautiful, powerfully driven, yet simplistic emotion we will ever have the pleasure to experience. Through the millennia, tomes have preached its value, the passions that come from yearning for its presence, and the pains associated with its unrequited presence or ultimate loss. What a beautiful foundation God affords to grow at an emotional, spiritual, and physiological level. Yet, for many, love is a goal for which we strive. Its presence is a checkmark in the developmental ladder of life. Regardless, I cannot help but notice that this source for happiness lacks the psychology of striving.
Mother Teresa’s saintly words return us to its simplistic origins. To spread love, that eternal source of happiness, we must first be present in the lives of others. Let us arrive with intent, to be present, here and now, in the lives of those we chose to associate. No, we will not agree with all. Yet, we may at least greet them with a smile, that presence of love present in the moment, where one shining light can beacon another towards its aim.
Namaste, my friends. May God and the blessings of love and happiness find you on your journey to believe, achieve, and advance confidently in the direction of your dreams.

When we share our love and happiness, we witness walking in the footsteps of Christ.
