Inspirational Quote

Jump, and you will find out how to unfold your wings as you fall.

A Philosopher’s Corner

Analysis Paralysis. Ever have it? It is real. For us bloggers, we may view it as writer’s block. But whatever form it takes, the underlying emotion of anxiety can cause even the strongest-hearted to freeze over in perpetual “what ifs.” But why is this the case?

Anxiety is a natural emotion. Its energy ebbs, it constricts, yet it does this to prime the physiological state to act. When in a state of fear, the nervous system will muster up the energy needed to keep the organism alive, prompting the fight or flight response. It is usually in this reactive state that we see fear and anger negatively. However, as I have touched upon in previous articles, no emotion is negative in and of itself. They are simply energy currents we enlist to create the movement needed to effect an outcome. Hopefully, that outcome exists in a direction you have willed to manifest in your life through a rightfully trained mind.

A bird needs no excuses. They outgrow the nest and jump. They don’t turn to the justification that it is too high, too hard, or what if they fail. They take a blind leap of faith, and through determination, they learn to soar high to their goal.

Raymond Bradbury took a leap of faith like this. Look where his willingness to fly brought him.

With respect. Namaste, my friends. May blessings find you on your journey to advance confidently in the direction of your dreams.

  1. It seems like it would be a blind leap of faith but it is in taking that step that we build the fortitude needed to advance confidently in the direction of our dreams. Thank you for commenting.
