Life is far too important a thing ever to talk seriously about.

Oscar Wilde

Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated.

Inspiration: The Simple Absurdities of Life

The Philosopher’s Corner

Ah… The simple absurdities of life. Got Life? When we do, we dwell on those things that are absent… When we don’t we dwell on what we once had.

But the question that is posed… Got Life? is a much more complex phenomenon than just the breath we inhale and exhale from our bodies. It’s essence is built into the very fabric or the personal journey we create and the collective aspects of existence itself.

Yes, this simple question juxtaposes the nature of the reality we have created to this point and the reality of the dreams yet to be achieved. It marries the existence we live in now to the material reality of our future. The paradox of life is lived through the simple act of breathing in and out, waking up to once again fall back to sleep, and to take part in the journey we are afforded each and every day. Who are we to argue with this perfection?

This is the nature of the fall that was foretold in Genesis. The nature of consciousness itself, the development of that personal sense of I, that must partake in something forbidden, in order to determine itself to be somehow different from the collective nature we are afforded through acts of gratitude and loving kindness.

EGO (Edging God Out), we loose that dreamlike reverie state, and become programatic. looking back on what was with a sense of wonder, loosing sight of what is, and building ashes to bring and sift through on the therapy couch. But these ashes are the work of life itself, a life worth living, and a story worth telling. The question is, in all its complex simplicity… What story do you want to have told about your journey.

Today’s quotes are very much a quandary. Life is too damn serious to take seriously, and it all its simplicity, it seems we yearn with full determination to complicate the hell out of it.

This form of philosophical quandary involves existentialism at its core. Yet, it is in this existence, that the true root of being is found. Happiness… Love… where could we find its essence without going within, and taking account of those very simple things we have every reason to be grateful for. I… Me… You… Them… Us… We are all in this together, islands bumping in a vast sea called this universal plight to Be…

Prayers and Blessings for your journey to find inner peace and success. Believe… Achieve… Advance Confidently in the Direction of Your Dreams!
