Unity in Kindness

Inspiration

Unity to be real must stand the severest strain without breaking.

Mahatma Gandhi

The Psychology Perspective

Wow… Mahatma Gandhi. What a great man, who became a beautiful example of what the will can do when it is directed towards an ultimate aim.

Today’s Inspiration is a play on the concept of Unity. There is nothing there that suggests kindness is present in the quote. In fact, Gandhi suggests that unity is nothing less than the capacity to persevere through the severest strain. That is brute strength. Will over the capacity to break within.

Ah… but that is where loving kindness exists. That which strains, that which has the capacity to break, always has the capacity to mend. As space is made, the laws of physics state that something must fill that space. This is a natural law… But don’t delude yourself to think you do not have control over what fills that space. This is where loving kindness comes into play.

What you fill your life with, the seeds you sew, this is where your soul, your psyche, your emotional state, your spiritual state, and even the beauty of your physical life will begin to flourish. Love yourself today.

Unity, in the capacity to withstand the severest strain, allows us to break that mold we once created for ourselves. Lover Yourself. Unite within. This is flowering ground for any success you dream to achieve.

Believe… Achieve… Advance Confidently in the Direction of Your Dreams.
