I think the more things move into habit, the more things just become. Today, I focused heavily on the idea of “Let Go, and Let God.” The more that I see a need to control, the more I realize that I may be holding on to things, including those things that I should be releasing.

Today, I saw this awesome video on YouTube from Dr. Joe Dispenza. It speaks to those pesky things we place emotional weight into. Unfortunately, we memorize, subsequently remember, and ultimately place emotional weight into these memories. Not only does this affect our ability to let it go, it ultimately creates a vacuum that keeps us from realizing a brighter future.

95% of our journey to release weight or any form a habitual response occurs at an unconscious level. While this method of living may save us a large amount of situational distress, it becomes problematic when we cannot let go of those life events that become tied to the bothersome emotional or habitual states we create.

In essence, habit can bring us down. Especially if those habits are problematic. We must learn to “Let Go, and Let God.” By learning to release, we make space for the new to come within our life. While in essence we are learning to create new habits by releasing old ones, through the act of having faith, we can move towards a brighter future of our longing.
