Day 2 on Weight Watchers.

Hello All. Hope you enjoyed the morning inspiration. Jim Henson was one of my favorites growing up. Who could go wrong with the Muppets.

Today was quite an interesting day. I actually forgot to eat my breakfast. In the hustle and bustle of getting kids ready, and handling a sick wife, I ran out the door, 2 minutes to spare… and forgot to eat my power berry protein smoothie. Talk about a bone head move.

Lesson One

Be organized around your diet, or you will pay. I don’t know why they call it diet, or even why I just did. The first three letters of this word are die… and who wants to do that?

Lesson Two

Plan the night before. You will be grateful you did.

Luckily, I had plenty of goodies, yes the good kind waiting for me. A great low fat ham, egg, and cheese omelette, and a bowl of high vegetable based chili with low fat top sirloin. I have to thanks those who work with me for the support they have given to me in the journey. You know who you are.

Feelings

Mid afternoon, again I felt a little hungry. I eat at roughly 11:00 am due to switching in between offices. Reread Lesson One and Two. This is about organization.

I will have snacks ready in the morning. Tomorrow, pack two protein shakes. Drink A lot of Water.

Feeling Good about this guys. Biggest thing that happened today, my oldest son told me you are loosing your belly. I think it was too soon, but he saw a change. Which in the bigger scheme of things… shows that he may too want to adopt a healthier lifestyle. That I pray… as I know professionally, and now see experientially, the power that lifestyle change can have on the children you raise.
